I can (and will if given the opportunity) ramble about twenty one pilots for hours. They may not have been my first hyperfixation but they were my favorite and they lasted the longest. I first got into them when i was 8 years old in may(?) of 2015 when my older cousin showed them to me, I had heard their songs on the radio obviously and I was immediately obsessed. My pilots hyperfixation stayed strong and lasted through the next five years. No joke or exaggeration. I'm not sure if it even counts as a hyperfixation at that point. They saved my life multiple times as a depressed teenager lmao. I have never been into a band the way I was with twenty one pilots. Their music is familiar and feels like home and even if im not obsessed with them they'll always have a place in my heart
So the lore is definitely a lot im gonna stick to the releases that are officially labeled as concept albums so I understand that at some level tyler was devoloping some kind of story in blurryface and there are definitely consistent and recognizable themes in the bands earlier works, but just to keep it simple the focus is going to be on Trench and Scaled and Icy (and top7 with its impending release) I'm also by no means an expert on the lore this is just my interpretation of it and im sure ive gotten some of it wrong
